I support your choice to go green. I personally understand the need to have lower VOC finishes. If I forget to wear my chemical mask and get exposed to traditional Polyurethane based finish fumes I can get a cough for weeks! To lower you or your clients exposure to chemical off gassing we use Green Guard Certified Bona Kemi Traffic high durability Low V.O.C finish. I also offer my clients the option of using Oneida Air - Dust Cobra dustless sanding and recoating systems. With our years of experience we can help you source environmentally friendly alternatives to traditional flooring. From reclaimed floors to certified sustainably harvested and renewable resources like Bamboo there are thousands of durable and beautiful options to choose from. Water Based Bona Kemi Traffic & HD Traffic
Bona Kemi developed a new finish called "HD" Traffic.
It cost more per gallon than regular traffic but is a superior product in both durability and sustainability. It has less toxic off gassing than traditional Polyurethane finishes.
We recommend it for high use areas. We have used this finish as a top coat on the Stinson Beach Community Center, Bolinas School, The Pelican Inn, and the Druids Hall in Novato to name a few...
Our clients with environmental/health concerns have been relieved to know it is more durable and has less VOC than traditional traffic formula and it is It is GREENGUARD Certified for Children & Schools.

Bona Kemi HD Traffic
